A message from the PRGA President

PUERTO RICO GOLF ASSOCIATION

Dear Friends, Golfers and Supporters,

At the present time, Puerto Rico is under a state of emergency due to the Coronavirus and it has been classified by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a pandemic disease.

I encourage you to heed the WHO’s recommendations as strictly as possible, in order to contain the virus. If we all accept to follow these health measures, we can protect our most vulnerable people and hopefully slow down the infection.

As part of our civic and neighborly duty, we have postponed the Stroke Play Series this weekend and the Toyota Junior World Golf Cup Qualifier which was scheduled for the last week in March, an event that had participation from Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica and Puerto Rico as the host country.

As fluid as the situation is, we will be updating you via our communication platforms as information becomes available.
Our staff has the ability to work remotely and are prepared to continue to service you. You may contact them at 787-793-3444 or info@prga.org.

Friends, these are trying times, but I am certain we will overcome this if we all do our, especially if we all do our best to adhere to the recommendations set forth by the healthcare professionals and local government officials.

Thank you, best wishes and we’ll see you on the golf course soon!

Sidney Wolf, President
Puerto RIco Golf Association
