Future Masters — Coaching Spotlight

Future Masters with Jason Baile

Jason Baile Joins Future Masters

Jason Baile brings elite coaching to our Future Masters athletes. A nationally recognized PGA coach, Baile blends strong fundamentals with modern performance tools—on-course strategy mapping, deliberate practice structures, and short-game systems—to help juniors convert practice into scoring. Participants can expect structured weekly plans, wedge and putting frameworks, pre-shot routines, and tournament preparation that emphasizes decision-making, recovery options, and mental composure under pressure.

AJGA PBE points available only for Future Masters participants. For all other juniors, this event counts as a regular Junior Series tournament.

The Latin America Amateur Championship will be played at Lima Golf Club in Lima, Peru on January 15–18, 2026. Puerto Rico is set to be represented by a talented squad—Jerónimo Esteve, Alejandro Caraballo, Max Alverio, and Kelvin Hernández—bringing a mix of international experience and emerging junior excellence. The LAAC champion earns coveted exemptions and opportunities on the world stage, making this a pivotal week for Puerto Rican amateur golf.

NICO OPEN — Puerto Ricans on the Rise

At the NICO Open 2025, Puerto Rico’s juniors proved their ability to compete on an international stage at Club Campestre Medellín Llanogrande. Tomás Rodríguez impressed with a composed performance, finishing T-8 thanks to sharp ball-striking and steady putting down the stretch. Evan Peña also delivered a strong showing, placing 18th in a talented field, gaining valuable experience against some of the region’s best juniors. Both results highlight the growing depth of Puerto Rican golf talent and set the tone for the upcoming fall schedule.
